- The duration of care is a minimum of half hour and often longer, to allow the support workers time to provide a care service that never feels rushed to the client.
- We maintain continuity of support worker to client, so that the relationship is nurtured, and a strong bond, familiarity and trust develops.
- We are DRB checked.
- The support is always person focused, not task focused.
- We recruit a specific type of support worker who genuinely has empathy for the elderly. They go through extensive training and are highly valued.
- We have past and present client testimonials available to contact.
Our range of services reflects our very different support proposition which centres on the needs of the elderly.
Companionship and help to carry out activities of daily living are the foundations to how we support the majority of our clients, which makes for a longer and more sustainable client relationship. In addition, we also serve a highly specialised market which provides support for clients who have life changing conditions.

What our Clients Say About Us
Hi Lyn, I want to thank you on behalf of my sisters and myself for the kindness for the and care that you give to our parents. I don't know what we, or mum & dad would do now without you and Tracy. Not only do you make sure that they are clean, tidy, take their meds and have meals at the right time but you care for them as well. Dad really appreciates you taking him a paper each morning and the odd treat like a stick of rock just because you know he likes it.
My sisters and I really appreciate that you take the time to call if you think they need a visit from the doctor or if something's amiss so that we can sort it out. We were finding it difficult to manage on our own and you have given us peace of mind. Both our parents say that if they have to have someone to help they're glad it's you. Thanks again, you and your team are invaluable and we just want you to know your thoughtfulness doesn't go unnoticed.Wendy (Roy & Irene’s daughter), Oakley, Corby
I first met Lynda in April 2014 when my family first decided that we needed help with caring for mum who suffers from Alzheimer's.
Our mum was having 18 hours a day care from family (including sleeping over every night) and were finding it very difficult to cope as had been on this rotor since September 2012 when I dad passed away.
I've asked Lynda if she could help us as we were well informed that as a carer Lynda was highly thought of. Since then Lynda has been a godsend for us as a family she washes or baths mum (something our mum wouldn't let the family get involved with) also helps with sleeping over and afternoons. Nothing is too much trouble for Lynda and will also help at such short notice if required and she is able.
Mum and Lynda have a great relationship so we can relax knowing mum is getting the best care possible from a reliable consistent lady.P. Bishton, Barton Seagrave, Kettering
"My mother had just been diagnosed with dementia, when a friend recommended Lyn Oswald to me. According to my mother she didn’t need a carer (why did she, as she had me?!). However I was struggling to care for her ,as well as look after my own family - two boys and my husband and go out to work.
From the moment we met Lynn, both our lives changed for the better. My mum had the help she needed and started to look forward to her regular visits and I became a daughter again, rather than a carer.
Lyn is one of the most positive and caring people, I have ever met. Her cheerful nature and easy going manner lifted my mum’s spirits. Nothing was ever too much trouble to her. Above all, my mother’s well - being and welfare were her main concerns. She cared. ...Gillian (Cath’s daughter), Brigstock Village
... Lyn became much more than my mother’s carer. Her friendship, advice and support to both my mother and myself was invaluable. She was always there for us both, until it became obvious that my mother needed more that what Lynn and I could physically provide. Again, Lynn offered me support and advice as I made the agonising decision, to admit my mother into a residential home.
I would not hesitate to recommend Lyn Oswald."Gillian (Cath’s daughter), Brigstock Village
